Morgantown Theatre Company will host a gala Opening Night "River of Chocolate" Reception for "Willy Wonka" on Friday, June 5th from 5:30 to 7:15 p.m. The reception -- a fundraiser for MTC -- will be at the Garlow House (next to the Morgantown Public Library) at 351 Spruce Street. Tickets are $40 per person, which includes one ticket to the Friday evening show. Guests will enjoy a fantasy of catered chocolate delights and delicious "fizzy lifting drinks." There will be a special appearance by master illusionist/magician Josh Knotts and afterward our Oompa-Loompas will guide you down the River of Chocolate to the historic Metropolitan Theatre for the 7:30pm curtain. A number of our best seats are being reserved for patrons of this event.
