Celebrating two decades of community children's theatre

MTC provides school age children with a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in a variety of theatre arts activities. Each semester, every MTC student “gets a part” with direct on-stage experience. Besides acting, singing and dancing, MTC students develop behind the scenes skills in set and prop design, lighting, sound effects, makeup, stage management, and even directing. These activities help build self-confidence, teamwork, responsibility, problem solving, communication, and leadership skills.

MTC Presents Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Jr.

Fall down the rabbit hole with Alice as she navigates the curious world of Wonderland on a journey of self-discovery in this stage adaptation of the classic Disney’s animated film and Lewis Carroll’s classic tales, tailored for young performers. It follows Alice’s journey of self-discovery as she navigates the whimsical world of Wonderland, encountering beloved characters like the White Rabbit, Cheshire Cat, Mad Hatter, and Queen of Hearts. The production features classic Disney songs such as “The Golden Afternoon” and “The Unbirthday Song,” along with new music from the 2010 live-action film. This updated version offers a fresh and fun take on the timeless story of adventure and imagination.
